Feasts of the Holy Spirit

The Brotherhood of St. John invites the entire community to participate in the festivities in honor of the Divine Holy Spirit on May 27 and 28. There will be traditional Portuguese and American food, including the famous malassadas. There will also be auctions and music to dance to.

Saturday, May 27

12:00pm / 04:00pm - Blessing of the pensões in the Father José Ferreira Parish Hall

07:00pm / 12:00pm -Music and dancing with the band Os Capitalistas
 

Sunday, May 28

09:00am - Gathering of the procession from Faialense Club in Cambridge

10:00am - Procession of the Crowning to Saint Anthon's Church.

11:00am - Solemn Mass and Crowning

12:30pm / 04:00pm - Serving of the traditional Holy Ghost soups for the whole community.

07:00pm / 10:00pm - Music and dancing Alison
